There are four IOSH certified courses for Traffic Management/Diversion activities:

Introduction to Temporary Traffic Management (ITTM)

Target audience:

All persons working in construction who deal with or work within Temporary Traffic Management closures – such as Subcontractors, Contractors, Supervising Consultants, Project Management Consultants, Traffic Management Consultants, Road Safety Auditors, Government Organizations and any other authority.

Site Traffic Management Personnel Training (STMPT)

Target audience:

All persons designing/supervising/installing/maintaining and removing Temporary Traffic Management closures – such as Subcontractors, Contractors, Traffic Management Consultants and Road Safety Auditors, Supervising Consultants, Project Management Consultants,Government Organizations and any other authority.

Site Traffic Management Supervisor Training (STMST)

Target audience:

All persons who will be required by their employer to work on the road network as Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Learners must have completed and passed the Introduction to Temporary Traffic Management (ITTM) or Site Traffic Management Personnel Training (STMPT).

Truck Mounted Attenuator Training (TMAT)

Target audience:

All persons who will be required by their employer using a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) and for protecting and installing static temporary traffic management. Course delegates must hold the appropriate HGV category on their driving license. Learners must have completed and passed the Site Traffic Management Personnel Training (STMPT).

Course type:

Theory: Training Course with IOSH Certificate issued after passing the exam.

Language: Arabic / English / Urdu / Hindi / Filipino / Nigerian.

Duration: Theory - 4 hours’ classroom.
